Some of our students have asked us for a "longer" golf school (week) in which they can come to a specific location, spend up to a week, and have an intense Single Axis learning experience. We now have the facility to host this experience...The GGA Teaching Academy at Coffee Creek Golf Course, the GGA Teaching Academy at Eagle Creek Golf Course, Orlando, Florida and at our annual trip to San Diego, CA at Barona Valley Ranch.

What students are saying about the Build Your Game Camp: |
I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and the sharing of your knowledge. It was truly a remarkable learning experience from various aspects of the game. Before arriving, I had listed out a number of issues I was having with my transformation to Moe’s swing. I finally feel I am on the correct path. Coming into the camp I had not swung a golf club since last September, therefore, I came in with an open mind and ready to learn. I had no expectations since the last ball I struck was last September. I did think I had certain parts of Moe’s swing down but was open for an overview, with some adjustments. Unfortunately I was way off on the assessment. The video taping session allowed “perception” to look at “reality”. The sooner perception can get to reality the better the golf swing will be. In any learning process, if your mind is open, you quickly find out that the more you learn, the more you realize how much you don’t know.

I have to say that it was an amazing experience…far exceeding our expectations. I won’t go into all of the details of the camp. I will tell you that GGA is one of the most professional services that I have ever dealt with. The entire experience was second to none. Going to a golf camp, there are certain things that you expect: top notch game instruction, excellent facilities, good food, up to date equipment. GGA delivered on each of these items. What I didn’t expect was the class room experience. These guys can teach. What we learned in the class was as important to me as what was taught on the course. They held my attention the entire time. I also enjoyed the Moe stories and imitations. Todd and Tim sound just like Moe. Lunch time was pretty cool as well. The team never seemed to tire of our many questions. I felt like I was just having lunch with a few of my friends.

I had the privilege of attending a 5 day BYGC in Orlando. As an alumnus of a 3 day school, I had high expectations regarding everything – instruction, assistance, video sessions, lunch, etc. It’s me great pleasure to inform you that all of my expectations were exceeded. Our Canadian friend Ivyn has already filled us in on many of the day to day activities of the camp, so let me review what I thought made this camp an outstanding experience....More than a few times, no matter who the instructor, my personal instruction started with the words “You know, we were talking about you at dinner last night, and we think that this might help…..”. Unbelievable. These guys see hundreds of students a year while maintaining a dizzying schedule, and they still find time to worry about struggling individuals, and then personalize instruction just for that student. I’ll bet Harvard and Yale don’t do that. Just The Harvard of Golf Schools....On a similar note: I wasn’t making the kind of progress Todd wanted me to have by Thursday, and it was obvious he was going out of his way to help me progress. I got the impression that he felt bad – because he took my lack of progress personally! These guys WANT you to succeed, they really do! They do NOT take your money and walk away from you. They stick with you.

I was totally blown away by the progress I made in one short week. Coming in as an alumni, I had a few specific goals in mind, as I know -MOST- of my own weaknesses (or I thought I did, anyway) and had a few targeted for elimination. If I had only made progress on those three items, I would have thought it was a successful week. That was not to be. Other parts of my game that I thought were OK also had a lot of room for improvement, and the Graves guys worked really hard to fix them too. Another thing I learned is that they only give up if YOU give up first. If you are doing it wrong, you'll get the same patient explanation the tenth time as the first.
