Tim Graves bio

Tim Graves, born in Fargo, ND, attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK where he received his Bachelors of Science in Microbiology.  He received his Masters degree from the University of Oklahoma in Epidemiology / Biostatistics.

Before founding the Graves Golf Academy with brother Todd in 2000, Tim worked as an Epidemiologist for the State of Oklahoma for 10 years.

Tim has been playing competitive golf for over 20 years, turning professional in 1997.  His career achievements:

  • 2006 PGA Professionals Championship - Top 50
  • 2005 South Central PGA Section Match Play Champion (click here for article)
  • 2004 PGA National PGA assistants tournament (Taylor Made National Asst. Championship) - Top 50 finish
  • 2004 South Central PGA Section Team Champion
  • 2003 South Central PGA Section Match Play Champion (click here for article)
  • Jordan Cup member in 2002, 2003 & 2004
  • Hooter's tour in 1998 & 2000
  • Two tournament victories on the Dakota Tour
  • Featured in South Central Golf Magazine in 1998 in an article titled "Work Works Wonders"

  • Top 100 Titleist / Golfweek Amateur in 1994
  • 3-time USGA Championship Qualifier
  • 7-time Oklahoma Golf Association Champion

Tim is a Natural Golf Certified Instructor and is a PGA member-June 2005. 

Tim currently resides in Oklahoma City, OK with his wife of 15 years and son Triston (7), 2 dogs (Putter & Peds), 2 guinea pigs, fish and other assorted pets.
